Old San Juan  a vibrant seven-square block neighborhood made up of cobblestone streets, beautiful historic Spanish Colonial buildings and many shops and restaurants.

Bacardi Distillery Tour  if you are interested in how rum is produced you should tour the Bacardi Distillery. The tour is free and you will also learn how to mix rum cocktails like the Cuba Libre and sample some rum as well.

 

 

El Yunque Rainforest

El Yunque Rainforest  is a National Park about 35 miles outside of San Juan. You can explore the nature trails and see one amazing waterfall after another and for the less adventurous you can  drive along the paved roads to view the park.

Bioluminescent Bay Laguna Grande

Bioluminescent Bay Laguna Grande is an open body of water filled with bioluminescent organisms called “pyrodiniums bahamenses.” When the water is disturbed it lights up and glows with tiny points of blue and emerald green light. It is truly magical to see!
